Dr. George Soung (pronounced “Song”) was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started playing the piano at the young age of 5, and during high school, he achieved All-State honors and was selected for the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts as a clarinetist. This early exposure and training as a classical musician during his childhood and teenage years is likely what cultivated his very detail-oriented personality and thoroughness both in his personal life and his profession. From a technical stand point he is a perfectionist. He always strives to first take time to educate his patients fully and then to achieve the best possible results with the most conservative treatments available first. His most important goal is to treat his patients with compassion and a full understanding for his patients’ treatment needs and wants.
